Alfa

Brothers, Family Legacy, and Inner Conflicts

Milad Avaz has both written ‘Alfa’ and debuted as a director on the series. Together with his brothers Misam and Mehdi Avaz, he has created a TV-series of eight episodes. It depicts the brothers Adam and Jakob’s struggles to find themselves. Will they stick to their illusions about who they are? Or will they give in to their true nature?
It is an exceptional drama with many layers. It is suspenseful but also thought-provoking and the theme of inner conflict, that runs throughout the series, will resonate with audiences all over the world.

When the newly qualified stock-broker Adam gets diagnosed with stress and loses his dad at the same time, he seeks out his past and his dad’s activities in the gang environment. Adam quickly gets absorbed into a world of easy acknowledgment and high levels of adrenalin, and it doesn’t take long before his regular and structured life is influenced by new ambitions and a thirst for power. His Childhood friends Simon and Oliver are there to help, but before they know it, they are meddling with gangs, police, and ultimately Adam’s brother.

At this session Actors, Sebastian and Andreas Jessen, Director, Milad Avaz, and Producers Mehdi and Misam Avaz will show some of their favorite scenes from the first season of ‘Alfa’, and tell stories from both behind and in front of the camera.
